Pull up banners have long been a staple display for trade shows as well as folks that travel often, but need to be able to provide visual displays at their various stops. Pull up banners can be changed out as the need arises, so you are not committed to the initial banner design. What makes pull up banners so popular is the fact that they are fully self contained. When you purchase one of these, they come with the following:
- Base frame
- Pole to hold banner up
- Banner
- Padded carrying case
With that, there are many options for you to pick from. You can get width's 15" to 59". You can also get them in heights ranging from 12" to about 95". Our most popular pull up banner is 31.5" x 83.75".
Besides size, you can chose between single and double sided frames. Frames that are double sided allow for 2 banners to be housed in the same frame.
You can also choose from various frame styles. Some frames have "feet" that twist out of the bottom to keep the banner from falling over. Others are wider and heavier at the bottom, so they do not need these feet.
Some banner stands allow for having a spare cassette. This lets you change out banners quickly. This also allows you to have different banners ready at all times depending on your audience.

Once you have decided on a suitable frame, you need to decide what type of material you want to use for your banner. The least expensive option is to use a standard 8 to 13oz banner material. Although a standard banner material will work with one of these banner stands, there are a couple drawbacks:
- Standard banner material tends to curl on the edges over time
- Standard banner material typically has a texture to it
If this is a short term display, these may not be issues that would prevent you from using a standard banner material.
Another option is a smooth banner material specifically made for pull up frames. These materials will cost a little more, but they are generally very smooth and resist curling. A good choice for displays that will be used for a longer period of time.
As you can see, there are many options out there for pull up banners. Finding the cheapest option is not always going to provide you with the quality product you are expecting.
