Just like with any other job or career path, it’s always a good idea to explore what different resources might be available to you. Located in downtown Tampa, Florida, there is the Entrepreneur Collaborative Center (or ECC) which provides many resources and information to entrepreneurs in the area. With several different conference rooms, the ECC hosts many low-cost as well as non-profit events for networking. When they called us at Signs Insight to create a wall mural for one of these conference rooms, we teamed up to come up with something that wouldn’t be too distracting to the eye like many picture wall murals are made to be, but rather something that would be more motivational and inspiring than anything for a young entrepreneur. “Many of life’s failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.” This is just one of the many quotes contained within this wall mural. The quote is from Thomas Edison who was a businessman and inventor himself, most famously known for developing products that we couldn’t imagine living without every day. He provided the world with products such as the long lasting practical electric light bulb and the motion picture camera. Having such a great influence on even the modern world still to this day, his quote stands to serve as an inspiration to any of these aspiring businessmen and women to keep striving for success and never give up.                      While sitting in this particular conference room, every guest will have a great viewpoint of this mural we have created. Six different original quotes from businessmen like Thomas Edison and various past celebrities have been printed on to the large wall paper we used for the mural to adhere directly on to the wall to prevent peeling. The quotes are laid out over multi tonal orange hues with an arrangement of graphic designs and shapes. We decided to go with different sizes and styles of font and lettering so that the mural wasn’t too uniform, but so that the words weren’t too big and distracting.
