This article is about a custom lobby sign that we made for our client, Lifetime Family and Urgent Care. They’re located in Tampa, Florida, and are a great medical group for those that might either be looking for a new urgent care facility, or have been thinking about switching current providers. We enjoyed working with them on this project, and look forward to helping them with other signage related needs they might have in the future.

These are custom lobby signs, and are fabricated using acrylic, high density urethane (HDU) and vinyl materials. It’s a routed three-dimensional lobby sign, which we create in-house on our custom sign making machines.
We used white acrylic which was then printed with vinyl over the face. We then adhered a layer of over laminate layer on top. The letters are mounted using standoffs on the face of the sign, which gives the letters an added layer of dimension. The standoffs help the letters to “stand off” from the surface of the sign, and typically are set at about 1 to 2 inches (but can be much larger) depending on the sign.
