While most beginners start with handgun training, we offer sessions which cover all types of guns. In any case, we start by discussing how to properly assemble, load, store, and fire the weapon. For beginners, this is important because it provides a baseline of knowledge they can use to build upon each time they practice. Proper Shooting Instruction  Once we cover the basics of how the gun operates, we start training on how to fire it accurately. Many beginners aren’t sure how to properly grip a firearm, how to stand while shooting, or the proper way to aim and fire. We start with these basics in the context of personal defense and ensure our trainees have the fundamentals in place to shoot with accuracy and confidence. In-Class and On-Range Training  When learning any skill, receiving instruction both in theory and in practice is helpful. We take this same approach to firearm training, and we start out in the classroom to discuss proper form and technique, and then we move to the range to put those skills to the test. Because our beginners receive instruction from experts and then get hands-on training, they have the best chance to retain and implement the lessons they learn.
