What Do I Need To Get A Permit?
In Arizona you can obtain a permit by completing a standardized application, completing educational requirements, paying a $60 fee and submitting fingerprint data. Anyone is eligible to obtain a carry permit provided they are over the age of 21, pass a background check and have no history of felonies, domestic abuse or substance abuse. We make it easy for our class participants by providing proof of course completion, assisting with the application and even providing fingerprinting here on site.
What Courses Do You Offer?
The required course to obtain your license is a four-hour, class-only course. While this course does not offer any range time, it covers essential skills and legal knowledge required to obtain your license such as state-specific laws on shooting and carrying, basic firearm knowledge, how to interact with law enforcement and how to handle violent encounters.
We also offer a more in-depth classroom course where we cover the legality of carrying in more detail, how to create a safe shooting plan in your home and cover stress induced training, as well as how to make the decision to shoot or not shoot. This class goes a long way toward helping someone be a responsible carrier.
For those who want to train the techniques after learning them in practice, our final carry course is all range time and covers how to carry effectively, drawing your weapon, shot placement and more tactical skills to help you in the real world.
