What Rifle Training Classes Do We Offer?
We offer more than a single rifle training course at our location. Rather than providing a general class where individuals of all levels attend, we provide four options for those who want to learn or advance their skills and abilities with the rifle. Our professionals are ready to teach nearly anything you want to understand about your rifle.
Let’s dive deeper into a few of the rifle training classes we offer at our facility. No matter your skill level or confidence with a rifle, our experts are ready to help. We will teach you how to fire, maintain, and even up your ability when operating a firearm. The more you know, the more confident you will feel when the time comes to fire your gun.
Introduction To Rifle
The first class is Introduction to Rifle. This course provides information about everything you need to know about the rifle, from basic safety for handling to rifle types and the quality ammunition to use in the system. You’ll learn safe storage tips, loading and unloading, and more.
There are no prerequisites required for this course. However, it’s necessary if you want to move on to more advanced classes in our system. To participate, you need a personal or rented firearm, eye, and ear protection, a functioning magazine, and approved ammunition.
Basic Rifle
The next course level is Basic Rifle. It’s four hours long and the second step in the rifle progression, focusing on the points of marksmanship with the firearm. You will learn proper setup for the equipment, aiming technology options, fundamentals of mounting, and other shooting basics.
You need to graduate in Introduction or earn an instructor exemption. It’s an excellent course if you want to learn more than the basics of a rifle.
Intermediate Rifle
The final step in the standard rifle course is Intermediate Rifle. Here, students learn how to shoot multiple accurate shots, maintain acceptable accuracy while shooting so many times, and how you should maintain aim. It builds on skills from the two prerequisite courses.
Here, students may hone their personal defense, competition, and recreation skills. If you’re interested in mastering the rifle, Intermediate Rifle is an excellent next step.
Introduction To Precision Rifle
Last up is Introduction to Precision Rifle. This class is an indoor option, helping students master aiming at, shooting at, and hitting a target up to 1,000 yards away. It offers valuable information to improve long-distance skills.
There are no prerequisites for this class. However, it is a prerequisite to taking additional precision rifle classes.
