Self-Defense Firearm Basics
Every shooter starts with the basics. In this course, students will be introduced to all the different firearms that can be used for self-defense. This includes handguns, shotguns, and AR-15s. This class is specifically geared towards the absolute firearm novice. If you are someone that has never touched a firearm, but is looking to get their bearings in the field, this is the class for you. By the end of this class you will know firearm nomenclature and all the terminology.
Legal Use of Force
As a CCW citizen you must know by heart the legal surroundings of the use of force in any situation. This class is focused on exactly that. Topics discussed in this course include the laws about the legal use of force inside and outside the home. This course uses our state-of-the-art simulator to test students’ new knowledge by putting them into several real-world scenarios.
Violent Encounters and Aftermath
What many courses regarding firearm training overlook is the aftermath of a deadly situation. Should you need to use deadly force, there are physical, psychological, and emotional reactions that everyone has from this extreme stress. This class specifically focuses on the aftermath and what you should do immediately following the use of forceful self-defense, including interacting with law enforcement when they arrive.
Home Defense Plan
The Home Defense Plan is a comprehensive guide to all things personal defense within the home environment. If you are considering, even in the slightest, of owning or carrying a firearm for the purpose of self-defense, this is the class for you. Topics covered in this class include conflict avoidance and situational awareness, home security and defense, self-defense firearm basics, the physiology of violent encounters, the legal aspects of deadly force, and a guide on defensive gear and gadgets. By the end of this course each student will have drafted a personal home defense plan with the guidance of our expert instructors.
