Concealed Carry Classes
Our CCW classes help prepare students to live a confident CCW life and remain a responsible weapon carrier. They learn practical aspects of the CCW lifestyle and shooting, and we equip students with the legal knowledge needed to successfully apply for licensure.
As with all of our class schedules, class times are relatively flexible to fit in with your already busy life. Throughout the course students receive personalized guidance to make sure that any shooter, no matter the prior experience or skill level, can become CCW licensed. It is not a one-size-fits-all class.
AZ Concealed Carry Basics (CCW4)
As the first class in our CCW series, CCW4 is meant for anyone who does not already have a CCW license. Any level of shooter who is at least 21 years old is welcome to join us in the classroom to learn the necessary information for successful CCW licensure application.
All of our instructors are NRA certified and many come from extensive military or law enforcement background. They bring this knowledge to the range and our classrooms every day. Specifically for the CCW4 class they use their background to help teach our students how to deal with law enforcement and deal with conflict aftermath as a concealed weapon carrier.
This class DOES NOT license the students for CCW. However, after taking this class, students will be confident and ready to submit an application to the Arizona Department of Public Safety for licensure.
Every Day Carry Principles (EDC)
As the second class in our CCW series, Everyday Carry Principles is an absolute MUST for those already licensed. It is 4 hours completely on the range to help shooters learn the best CCW practices of their chosen weapon. Skills to evolve include dealing with malfunctions, reloading, defensive maneuvers, firearm retrieval, shooting, and draw stroke concepts and techniques.
This completely interactive class is great for any level shooter as long as they are CCW licensed. It is meant to help them understand the mindset and realities of a gunfight. This class evolves and improves shooting skills so students leave with more confidence in themselves to deal with a potentially threatening situations.
Judgmental Shooting in the Home
Our last class in the CCW series continues to put the CCW shooting skills to practical use. By using our state-of-the-art simulator, students are put into dangerous situations that can occur around the home. This helps to put their skills into context and learn how to analyze a situation when under pressure.
The most alluring part of this class is the one-on-one time with an instructor that students receive. They are there to help coach and debrief each student individually after the simulation to analyze mistakes and understand how to effectively improve for next time.
