Concealed Carry (CCW) classes are one of our most popular offerings at C2 Tactical. It prepares students for the CCW lifestyle including the legal knowledge and basic practicalities that is required for certification. Like all of our classes, these are somewhat customizable to meet your needs and skill level or knowledge. Anyone who want to learn about CCW and have everything they need to apply for certification is welcome in this course. C2 Tactical has three unique offerings that comprise our CCW course list. Each one is designed to make sure the students understand the fundamentals of CCW life. These fundamentals and basics also include everything you need to know to successfully apply for a CCW permit from the state of Arizona can be learned in our basics class. Throughout the series other learnings include everyday principles and practical usage and assessment of shooting in the home. We highly encourage any student looking to live the CCW lifestyle to complete each of our three classes to ensure they get all the information, skills, and knowledge needed to lead a responsible CCW shooter lifestyle. AZ Concealed Carry Basics The first class in our CCW fundamentals is geared for absolute beginners looking to successfully get licensure to CCW in Arizona. This course DOES NOT certify you. Only the Arizona Department of Safety can do that. But this course does give you the necessary knowledge to successfully submit and most likely be approved for a CCW permit through the Arizona DPS. Also note that CCW permits and requirements differ from state to state, so even if you are licensed elsewhere this may not be functional in Arizona. We encourage you to still take this class to make sure that you can transfer your CCW correctly and get licensed in AZ. This CCW course at C2 Tactical has some unique features you won’t find anywhere else. Many of our instructors come from military and law enforcement background. They know the complicated legalities of CCW and bring this knowledge with them to instruct our students. Our classes teach how to interact with law enforcement as a CCW carrier and deal with conflict aftermath if the need should arise. There are many advantages and benefits to getting CCW permitted. In Arizona specifically this means the DPS pre-approves your purchase of firearms so there is no required background check. Being CCW licensed also allows you to bring your concealed weapon into National parks and liquor stores unless posted otherwise. The AZ permit specifically also gives you the potential to carry in 37 other states. Everyday Carry Principles For those that complete the Concealed Carry Basics course and successfully become licensed, CCW also offers another course on the lifestyle itself. The Everyday Carry Principles course is 4 hours of range time and open to all shooting levels who have the intention of developing and advancing skills. Judgmental Shooting in the Home Our final CCW class is Judgmental Shooting in the Home. CCW lifestyle means you are permitted to have a gun in the home, and this can be stressful. This course uses our interactive simulator to go through some situations that can occur with a gun in the home. You are given threat scenarios that are possible to encounter and be coached on how you handled them.
