More specifically these classes are divided into pistol and rifle techniques for the outdoors. Pistol Operations Defensive and Advanced Pistol Operations Our Defensive Pistol Operations class is designed for shooters looking to advance their skills in a realistic, outdoor shooting setup. Individuals will learn the fundamentals and safety of pistols including setup, selection, and reloads and stoppage clearances. It has an intense focus on accuracy as shooters learn to move and transition while engaging with multiple targets. Our Advanced Pistol Operations course builds on this as shooters at this stage should understand that even the smallest improvement in technique is going to make a significant difference in their skill. This class gives exposure to firing under stressful situations, shoot, move & communicate drills, conventional & unconventional positions, bilateral pistol & rifle operations, primary & secondary weapon transitions, and pressure drills. Low-light, No-light This is one of the most practical applications of pistol defense as many personal violence situations occur in a dimly lit environment like parking garages or outside at night. This class gives students the confidence and experience to be successful in these types of situations by learning how to hold a gun and a flashlight, usage of cover with a flashlight, and how to avoid shooter illumination pitfalls. Our class takes it a step further and encourages students to understand situational awareness and a defensive mindset, so they will never have to use the skills they learn. Carbine & Precision Rifle Operations Precision Long Range Rifle Classes Our 3 classes teaching the precision long range rifle classes begins with the very basics teaching about equipment, calibers, and ancillary gear. The second in the series moves on to techniques and skills that help in high-pressure scenarios including elevation adjustments, bullet compensation, and placement. The final class in the series pushes a shooter to their limitations with skills that apply to competitive shooting and hunting with small topics like ballistics, rifle nomenclature & function, positional shooting, wind, and range estimation. This class is for those who truly wish to be rifle experts. Defensive and Advanced Carbine Operation These classes parallel our defensive and advanced pistol operations courses, but are geared towards those more comfortable with a rifle. Defensive Carbine Operation starts with the basics like set-up and selection, and zeroing carbine before moving to skills like shooter movement, multiple targets, conventional and unconventional positions, and bilateral rifle operations. The Advanced Carbine Operation class continues these drills by focusing on more advanced manipulations to create more opportunities for motion and efficiency as well as shorter your reaction times and transitions to shooting platforms. Hunter Prep The last outdoor tactical class we offer is hunter prep meant for any group or individual that enjoys hunting. It can be customized to your preference of hunt species and location with a course that goes up to 1000 yards. The class develops necessary skills for hunting like moving between shooting positions, selecting hides and overlook positions, the affect altitude and temperature have on trajectory and range, and more.
