Introduction to Handguns | 3 Hours
This first course is for complete beginners, and we call it the ‘Pistol 100’ class. Registration for the introductory handgun lesson is only $60, and you won’t spend all three hours in the classroom either. After a lecture by our instructor, you’ll go out on the range to try out the weapon yourself! The focus areas of this course include:
- Universal firearm safety
- Ammunition types
- Different handgun types
- Safe loading and unloading methods
- Live-fire exercises to practice handling and safety procedures
Handgun Fundamentals | 4 Hours
The fundamentals class for handgun shooting is the second course in our series, and we call it ‘Pistol 200.’ This course is designed for new and intermediate-level shooters. It costs $60 and four hours of your time, half of which will be spent on the range. You can learn the following skills:
- Grip, stance, trigger squeeze, proper operation, and sight alignment.
- Universal firearm safety
- Trigger control
- Grouping shots within 2 inches at a distance of 21 feet
Practical Handgun | 5 Hours
The ‘Pistol 300’ course is for people with prior shooting experience. It costs $150 to enroll in the Practical Handgun course and takes five hours to complete the training. The class covers advanced skills for handgun handling and shooting. You will learn different shooting techniques and practice accuracy. Only one hour will be spent in the class, and the rest is range time. You will learn the following skills:
- Multi-round shots
- Drawing from the holster
- Accuracy with the first shot
- Advanced reloading
- Sight alignment at various distances
- Shooting under stress
Pistol Mounted Optics | 4 Hours
Defensive pistols are typically equipped with red dot or holographic reflective sights. We train our shooters to use various reflective sights manufacturers offer in this course. The training focuses on learning the difference between iron and red dot sights and how to use such weapons in a range of situations. You can enroll in the course for $125.
