The Kimber CDP is a 1911 recoil-operated pistol that uses a .45 ACP cartridge. This semi-automatic handgun boasts an accuracy rivaling many high-maintenance weapon models. Kimber CDP 45ACP Finish Back in the day, manufacturers had limited options for finishes on 1911 models, and the finish would be all but gone after the weapon had been used a few thousand times for practice. However, Kimber's CDP has a unique finish with 30 LPI checkering under the trigger guard and the front strap. The CDP also features a spray-on KimPro II finish on the frame to guard against rust that can withstand the wear and tear of a few thousand draws. The slide is stainless steel with a similar finish in satin silver for both Ultra and Pro models. Book a Lane at C2 Tactical's Gun Range in Scottsdale!
