Kimmins Construction came to Premier Signs of Tampa to refurbish the metal frame and replace the awning material for their training facility’s outdoor entrance. In order to do so, they first detached the awing material from the existing frame, then took down the frame from the building’s metal exterior. A fresh coat of black paint was applied after cleaning and sanding any loose or rusted spots from the frame. A beautiful new, red vinyl awning cover, complete with their logo, was attached to the newly refurbished frame. Everything was then reinstalled on to the building’s metal exterior. The new awning logo identifies Kimmins Construction while the red color draws the eye directly to the entrance.
A splash of color, especially red, sets an upbeat welcoming tone to any exterior, but this dimensional awning really adds to the buildings overall look. Besides looking pretty, an awning depending on the shape and size, can add a functional benefit. They can provide shade and protection from the elements over main entrance doorways.
