Industrial locations, that also have walk in business, need both interior and exterior signs. Such is the case for Kroslak Bakery Equipment Company in Plant City, Florida. They have been in business for many years, but they were previously located in Tampa. This new industrial location is spacious with a  modern look. The owners still wanted to convey their old world roots, so they got creative. Not only did they use rustic wood and accents in the lobby/reception area, but they chose an old word text style to use on the signage. This choice helped continue the theme on the exterior and into the lobby.

The exterior building wall is concrete and the roof is metal. One large polymetal sign with their custom script logo changes the feel. It is a simple white base with black vinyl lettering, but it has immediate impact. Like most industrial areas, this location comes with an expansive parking lot, so the logo sign needed to be large enough to be seen from the street, and this one does the trick. The Kroslak name in black is highly visible on the white base, and beckons customers to the front entrance.

Once inside the reception area, it clear to see that the intent was to warm up the large space and give homage to the family’s history. Immediately your eye is drawn to the Kroslak logo displayed on the front of the reception counter. This time the sign is made of black acrylic letters in the same text style. This continues the friendly old world feel and designates the front desk at the same time. The black scrolled text imitates the look of black wrought iron that you may have found on the rustic wood face in days of old. It is a great look, and a great choice.

Industrial factories and warehouses, of course, don’t stop at the front lobby. The back area is usually even larger and a beehive of activity. This is also an area where signs are important, but perhaps for more practical applications rather than aesthetic. Directional arrows, warning signs, room numbers, ADA signs, restroom and stair signs are some usually needed. Kroslak also wanted a large dry erase sign made to help with production and delivery schedules. This large white sign with black vinyl markings helps keep the busy warehouse moving.

Extra signs such as this one, are the kind of signs that an experienced sign team can help design specifically for your needs. Having Kroslak for a repeat customer is one way in which Premier Signs of Tampa can anticipate their needs and expediate their want list.
