Heritage Village, an assisted living facility, owned by Legend Healthcare required new, large signage, as part of a re-branding effort due to a change of ownership. Through our detailed consultative process with the team at Heritage Village, it was determined they desired an illuminated sign that wouldn’t break their budget, while having a professional appeal which could be easily seen from the road by the community.
We worked diligently with the team at Heritage Village to design several options. Ultimately they determined that a 4’8’ sign utilizing 3M gloss vinyl and gloss laminate would be ideal as it would ensure durability and a long life in the widely varying weather in Missouri! It was constructed of 3mm aluminum on pressure treated lumber for superior resistance to unpredictable weather conditions well known to the Midwest. The support poles were primed, painted, and then wrapped in PVC to help prevent wood rot, as well as an added layer of protection from potential landscaping damage. We ensured to bury the poles 30” below ground, surpassing the frost line. Lastly, we custom engineered faux stone panels, to give the appearance of a traditional monument style sign, which met all permitting requirements for Platte City, Mo, where Heritage Village is located. To top it off, we added a set of solar LED lighting for optimal visualization at night.
