Recently, Creative Edge Signs and Graphics was approached by EC English to undertake a signage project for the new school they were opening in Washington DC. This was to be our largest wall graphic project to date, and we knew we were ready for it!
We began with large, full length wall murals ranging in width from 12' to 24'. These were installed in 11 classrooms, and featured the image of past presidents. The next product that we installed for EC English was a series of custom window graphics. These featured frosted vinyl with lettering that showed a grammatical term and definition that pairs with the mission of the school to teach English as a second language. After that we began to work on signage for the lobby. We went with an image of their business brand on brushed aluminum, and created a vinyl graphic of the logo for the reception desk, as well.
In the image above to the left, you will see a finished mounting of one of our full wall murals. The image is bold and captivating, and leaving a lasting impression in the minds of those who see it! The photo above and to the right features the graphics that grace the windows of the EC English school. They are precise, crisp, and memorable. In the photo below and to the left is another custom wall mural featuring President Jackson on the twenty dollar bill. This is a graphic that students will definitely remember. Finally, we have to the bottom right, an image of the finished logo signs in the lobby. These create a high impact statement to the public, when first entering the facility! Taken together, all our work reflected the energy, expertise, and passion EC English has for teaching English!
EC English has over 21 schools all over the world, this being there newest one in Washington DC. Their goal is to help students succeed in a global community. We partnered with Center Director, Amy Dorcy, and Marketing Manager, Louise Osmond to give this location the personal touches that will make it a powerful statement in the community.
