With extra material left over we had two pictures printed on the canvas. We had them stretched and the finished product looked as if they were painted just for us. With every new material we print on we look to expand our clientele, we look forward to helping our clients with their printing, graphic and signage needs.

Have you ever wanted to take a canvas painting and replicate it? Recently, at Alpine Graphix, we had an artist who wanted his original painting reproduced for an art show he was hosting. Now anyone can take this painting and have it printed on paper, but that’s not what our client wanted. He wanted the copies to look and feel just like the original on canvas. We knew this would be tricky but our graphic designer got to work immediately.
First was finding canvas that was compatible with our printer and then making sure it had the same feel as the original painting. We were able to find HP Collector Satin Canvas online for a decent price. The next step was matching the printed colors to the painting. What you see on a computer versus the print can be misleading. On the first print, the colors were off and we couldn’t afford to waste anymore material. We had our whole team inspect the colors before the next print. The second print was dead on and we were able to produce 12 canvas prints for our client, who was more than satisfied.
With extra material left over we had two pictures printed on the canvas. We had them stretched and the finished product looked as if they were painted just for us. With every new material we print on we look to expand our clientele, we look forward to helping our clients with their printing, graphic and signage needs.
