Most will guide you through this stressful time, remove water, mitigate damages and help be the liaison with your insurance claim. Your insurance company may have recommendations on companies to call, but homeowners may use the company of their choice. It is important that you verify the company that you choose will be able to handle your entire job start to finish. Some companies may only specialize in water removal. The home owner is then stuck finding a new contractor to do the needed repairs, making an already frustrating situation even more so.
