Organizing the pieces and deciding where they will go in your booth ahead of time can save you time. Maybe you can even take pen to paper the night before to draw the layout for your booth. Many large companies hire experts to do that for them, but if you are on a tight budget or just starting out, that may not be an option. Make sure you have ample walking area for potential customers to feel invited into your booth space, so don’t over crowd the area with too many objects. Fabric displays are very easy to set up and take down. There are however some considerations to think about when you are setting up the displays. Large backwalls can be constructed in a variety of ways. At Banner and Display Direct, we offer two portable backwall display designs. The Formulate Backwall displays offers a pillowcase graphic that fits over a tube frame. After you fit the fabric over the frame you simply zip the fabric to close. You are going to set up the tube frame first before you slide the graphic over the tubes, so make sure when you lay your fabric on the floor, that the area is clean. If the area is not clean, the dirt and grime can get on your fabric and you will be very unhappy. Dye sublimated fabrics are machine washable, but you most likely will not have time for that before your event! Another option that Banner and Display Direct offers for a fabric backwall display is The Hopup Backwall Display. The fabric attaches with Velcro and can be left attached to the frame while in storage. If you choose to leave the fabric attached, the setup will take seconds, but the fabric might be a bit wrinkled. Bringing along a steamer will solve that issue. A steamer is a great thing to bring along with any fabric display because inevitably there will be some sort of wrinkle or crease from storage or shipping. The key to successful fabric display set up is planning. Take just a few minutes to think about where everything is going to go in your booth and make sure your set up area is clean. When you are ready to take down your display, take a few minutes to neatly fold and place your graphics in a protective bag to keep your fabric graphics looking like new.
