I’ve said it before and I will say it again, we can wrap almost anything. In this case it was a custom cooler that the property management group at 7Seventy7 in downtown Milwaukee just added to one of the floors for their tenants. Our customer, Bozzuto Group LLC, manages properties all over the country and is famous for their high end properties. This is no exception.
Bozzuto Management has come together to create a one-of-a-kind living experience. 7Seventy7 offers all residents the opportunity to live in an environment unlike anywhere else in the city. With every floor plan, with every amenity, with every finish and every fixture, they have designed 7Seventy7 to be something special. Something amazing. Something – let’s just say it – game changing. They invite you to come take a tour and see for yourself just how different downtown living can be. And by different they mean different.
The cooler came completely branded for bevi, the company that offered the cooler. The problem is that everything in the building is branded for 7Seventy7. They have a very specific color layout with incredibly detailed specs for the use of the name, symbols and colors. He is what we did.
We started with the layout of the existing decals. By creating a working model of the existing decals we were able to layout the new decals in a way that didn’t conflict with the existing design. We overlaid the design requirements and made a few small modifications. Once we moved the new decals around, we were able to see the manufacturers decals which couldn’t be covered. We also fought with the colors on the cooler as they really don’t go well with a deep antique bronze. Unfortunately, the bronze color was not an option nor was the sky blue so we went with what we could change. By making very small alterations in the design, we were able to add the desired color and logo without interfering with the bevi branding. We also had to watch out because the bevi graphics were added using vinyl and we had to make sure that our vinyl would come off and not destroy the original design.
By using our resources, we were able to find a vinyl that is a medium tact and made for 2-3 years of interior applications. The vinyl installed perfectly without bonding to the vinyl in a way that would cause us to remove the original vinyl. Overall a very successful project.
