When Snapdragon Florists of Elm Grove came to Optimum Signs, they were a little less than excited to begin this project. You see, they had worked with another company on a design that took over three weeks to finalize. In addition, the price kept changing. And did I mention that the company never started the project? That’s right. When the time came to schedule the install, they told the customer that they were “somewhere near two to three weeks out”. Imagine there surprise when Optimum Signs had a design in the customers hands within 72 hours. Not to mention that the design floored our customer! They couldn’t believe that we could deliver on the design. Boy were they in for a surprise.
When we started working on the design, we collaborated with both owners to understand what they wanted. It was no surprise that both had very low expectations. So when we showed them the design, they were impressed. The design flowed around the van and really stood out. The use of color and the customers logo enhanced the readability and helped get their van noticed. It also provided some needed shade for the interior of the van to protect the flowers that they deliver with this vehicle. When we moved to install (one week later) we used perforated window film in a 65/35 ratio. This means that 65% of the area covered is vinyl while 35% is open and unobstructed. This allows for the driver to still see through the windows and gives us a platform to deliver radiant color and incredible design. When we delivered the van back to Snapdragon Florists (in 24 hours) they were speechless. We could tell that we had delivered on exactly what we said we would, nothing short of exceeding their expectations.
