Ultra Board is a composite substrate consisting of a polystyrene foam core sandwiched between 2 sheets of rigid polystyrene sheets that are permanently bonded together. This makes Ultra Board a very lightweight substrate that is easy to transport. The polystyrene surface is ideal for direct printing, picture mounting, routing, and of course vinyl application. The polystyrene surface is also resistant to moisture, dents, and warping which makes it a very versatile substrate for many applications. When a dry erase laminate such as concept 111 is applied to an Ultra Board substrate such as the one illustrated above, a dry erase scoreboard with a graphic underlay is created. Standard sizes for Ultra Board are 48" x 96", 60" x 96", and 60" x 120" and thicknesses vary from 3/16 of an inch to 3 inches.
