Custom Acrylic Lobby Signs:
Are you looking for a sign to catch your clients' eye when they walk in the door that doesn't break the bank? We were too. We wanted something that was sleek, durable, installed easily, required little maintenance, and was affordable.
About our sign:
We wanted to incorporate the stone with our logo so we designed a stone pattern, printed it on a removable vinyl, and squeegeed it onto the wall. We reverse printed our logo on clear vinyl and used a translucent vinyl as a laminate to bring out the color a bit more. We then mounted it on the back of the acrylic. Next, we mounted the acrylic on top of the removable, stone-patterned vinyl. We chose 4, 1 inch, aluminum standoffs for mounting.
Why we chose an acrylic lobby sign?
- Sleek and Professional- We loved that it looks like glass but isn't actually glass. We chose clear acrylic but there are other options as well including but not limited to frosted and colored acrylic.
- Durable- Acrylic is strong, stiff, and rigid. It can be used indoors or outdoors, and can withstand ranges in temperature. Colors resist fading from outdoor weather and ultraviolet light.
- Installs Easily- Aluminum standoffs for mounting not only look nice, but are very easy to install as well. All you need is a drill!
- Easy Maintenance- A mild soap and water with a clean, non-linting cloth is the way to go! Avoid using harsh chemicals and abrasive cloths as they may scratch or harm the acrylic.
- Affordable- We wanted high-quality but didn't want to spend an arm and a leg to get it. The square footage price is very affordable!
