Promoting your business through wrapping a vehicle or two is a great way to take your silent sales force on the road. Developing signage that works on a vehicle is something that we love to do at Pure Image Signs & Graphics.
Vehicle wraps have evolved over the last few years, especially in the physical implementation of the wrap. The materials, the tools, and the techniques for installation have improved immensely. Now the various vinyl materials have longer lives. With the right installation, your investment lasts longer, giving you a better return on your investment.
Designing a Good Vehicle Wrap
Despite the developments, a good design is still first and foremost when it comes to an effective vehicle wrap. A good design has to:
1. Fit your brand,
2. Complement the vehicle,
3. Consider vehicle body lines, curves, and obstructions, and
4. Ensure that text and images appear naturally on the vehicle and miss any areas that would create a visual oddity, like voids or door handles.
Our graphic designers at Pure Image Signs & Graphics know how to create stunning vehicle wrap designs that get results.
Choosing the Right Wrap Material
There is a good reason why vinyl manufacturers use terms like economy, intermediate, and high-performance to describe their product. Material composition is everything when it comes to vehicle wrap films.
Today’s prevalent films for vehicle wrapping are PVC-based products with a pressure-sensitive adhesive. They are referred to as calendared and cast films. Cast film is typically thinner, more pliable, and more-expensive than calendared film. The top mistake made regarding the choice of film is using a film that is not conformable enough and, therefore, does not offer the proper lifting resistance.
It is also important to laminate a wrap graphic with a cast film laminate. This offers better protection from abrasion and is relatively easy to apply.
The design is critical and so is the installation. At Pure Image Signs & Graphics, we walk you through all the options to ensure that the final product is at least as good as you desired.
Installation
One of the most important aspects of a vehicle wrap is also one of the most overlooked – the installation. The life of your vehicle wrap can be extended by the talent and experience of your vehicle wrap installer.
Our wrap installers work on vehicles full time. They have been professionally trained, working for years in the field. That’s why we can offer a level of quality and precision that other companies just can’t match.
