Whether you are promoting a specific product, event or just creating brand awareness, the final design of your banners is key to a successful campaign. If you are able to use many banners across many lamp posts in a compact location, you may want to consider a few designs that work together to get your message across. A mile stretch of a busy boulevard or a crowded parking lot outside of your business can be a great way to make a huge impact with many banners. Short term campaigns can be printed on 13 oz banner material which is lighter-weight and less expensive than the heavier 17 oz banner material that is recommended for longer-term campaigns lasting several months or longer.  Standard sizes for lamp post banners range from 24" x48" up to 36" x 60". The larger street banners or flags are generally used higher up on larger lamp posts where your audience will be viewing them from a greater distance, while the smaller banners are generally used in parking lots or areas where viewers will be closer to the banners. 3. INSTALLATION: Lamp post banners require special mounting hardware and brackets. Once the mounting systems are installed, it is easy to hang the banners as well as take them down and swap out new banners for a different event or promotion.
