Project: Dimensional Letters and Custom Metal Signs

Recently, we were contacted by Pine Tree Independent School District, one of two school districts located in Longview city limits. They were getting ready to kick off the 2015 high school football season. To raise money for school activities the school sales sponsorships to local businesses. Imagine SignWorks was contracted to make the custom metal signs that would display the local businesses logo at specific locations within Pine Tree Stadium. In addition to the metal signs we also provided dimensional letters to identify the sponsorship wall.
The picture above is the sponsorship wall as you walk into the stadium from the ticket booth. Above the custom metal signs are dimensional letters. The metal sponsorship signs are centered between the dimensional letters in rows of three. The sponsorship wall is located within Pine Tree Stadium, so as fans enter and exit the stadium, they will be able to view the list of current sponsors. We also placed similar metal signs that were 24″ x 18″ in the concession areas of the stadium as well as the press box. The metal signs were made from .040 aluminum sign blanks. The sponsors logos were printed to 3M IJ40C using our large format HP Latex printer. The vinyl graphics were applied to the aluminum substrate to finalize the custom metal signs.
The dimensional letters were made out of formed plastic which is Cellulose Acetate Butyrate. CAB is a tough and versatile plastic and it can be produced with standard styles or customized from your artwork. There are many benefits such as UV stable and fade resistant and fast delivery time. The letters can be produced in as little as 4 business days. It also offers greater depth and dimension compared to flat cut letters. It is a great low cost option with high end results.
