Project: Solar Window Film for Heat/Glare Control

We were recently contacted by Indian Cafe located in Friso, TX. They wanted window film to reduce heat, block UV and control glare. They were also concerned the dark tint may confuse customers on whether or not they are open for business, luckily we had a solution. We decided on a Natura 15 Solar Film and they were pleasantly surprised when the project was complete.
In the picture above you’ll see the storefront of Indian Cafe with their new solar window film, we made sure the open sign was bright and clearly visible to ensure potential customers passing by will know it is open. All other areas of the film provide privacy for customers, reduce heat and reduce glare. Having solar window film installed on their windows should also help reduce the cost of their average utility bill.
Indian Cafe is a local Frisco, TX restaurant providing their customers with gourmet Indian food. They have everything from soups and salads to kababs and stuffed bread. Indian Cafe also has an entire vegetarian section of their menu to look at. It is definitely a Frisco spot worth visiting.
Each window film installation begins the same, we get a request from a customer. Sometimes the customer knows exactly what they have in mind, sometimes our experts help. We also have to get exact measurements window areas to ensure it fits perfectly. After measurements the film is fabricated and ready to install. We are very careful when installing films to avoid bubbles, air pockets or any other unsightly issues. Most store owners are concerned the public may take the dark look as being Closed for business but we have a solution. What have done to correct this is to either leave the window with an “Open” sign unfilmed or cut around the “Open”sign. Which by doing actually enhances the brightness of the open sign by darkening the glass around it.
