There are many styles of stands and displays for trade shows, but not all of them will be accepted as carry on luggage.   If you are going to be using the display time and time again, we strongly recommend a retractable banner stand that you can carry onto the plane and set it up within seconds once you are at the trade show venue.  There are even models available that allow you to change out the graphic within seconds so you can tailor your display message to a specific event.  Keep your display simple and setup for the event will go much more smoothly.
