Recently, we were contacted by Dino’s Steak and Claw House in Grapevine, Texas. They were looking for a new hours of operation sign. Their old sign was scratched out, torn and looked shabby, so they were looking for a local sign company who could come in and give them a simple facelift and a fresh look for their hours of operation signs. We replaced the old one with a more high-end sign (seen in the image in this article), that will far outlast the previous one.
Hours of operation signs are very important to businesses because they are often times the first sign that people pay attention to, and one that people look for often. They’re an important sign that is mainly functional, as it posts what times the business is opening and closing. But for this project, we needed to make sure the new window graphic looked clean, sharp and suited the look of a high-end restaurant.
One of the main goals when making their sign was to make sure it matched their existing window graphics. This hours of operation sign was made from vinyl using a reverse cut method, where the text is a cut out from the vinyl material and creates negative space. Frosted vinyl can create a classy and sophisticated look that is a good fit for many different types of businesses, including a high end restaurant like this one. The new hours of operation sign really fits well with the other frosted vinyl graphics on their front door, complementing each other and creating one uniform look, as if they were installed at the same time.
