Project: Fire Safety and Evacuation Signs
Client: Boxer Property
Location: Dallas, TX
Recently, we were contacted by Boxer Property to install fire evacuation signs for their office building. We had completed another job recently for them at the same location, and were happy to help again. We enjoyed the previous job of changing out suite signs for them and and are proud to be working with Boxer Property again on this project: installing the proper fire safety signage.
Fire evacuation safety signs are mandatory signs that inform people of fire exits. They are one of those signs you don’t really notice until you need to. They are usually located near elevators and are a critical part of providing safety to the building’s tenants.
There are key considerations when installing fire evacuation signs. One of them being local city ordinances. City rules and regulations specify things like location and design of the signs, are important to follow as you can be fined if your signage isn’t up to code. By doing the research to make sure we know all of your local ordinances, we can help get your signs up to code for you, so you can focus on running your business.
Often times, evacuation signs are located below the elevator call buttons. If your elevator call buttons are not installed properly and are not level, then it can make your evacuation signs look crooked when they aren’t. We can come to your place of business and consult with you, prior to installation, to ensure you’re satisfied with the final result.
