What is the best way to advertise your business or services? Unfortunately "That Depends" as I am sure you have heard before. There are many questions you need to answer, starting with what products or services are you trying to sell and who is the audience. Recently there were a group of over 500 businesses, who surveyed their customers. Question was simlple, how did you find out or hear about their business? Results were: Signs 47% References 37% Newspaper 7% Yellow Pages 5% Other 4% This may be surprising to some but as a member of the Sign Industry, I am not really surprised. Signs are a very effective media to advertising. Once you define the purpose, how long or duration, message or image to convey, then and only then can you start to make some key decisions. Signage spectrum can range from a button on someones coat, to something as extravagant as those in Las Vegas. So the answer to the question is, Signs are the best way to advertise, no matter how big or how small.
