Know your lease terms…
Before entering into a lease, or even if you have already done so, it’s important to read the terms of the agreement carefully. Although most vehicle leases do not restrict the application of high-quality vinyl wraps, it is best to know the restrictions of your lease ahead of time. If vinyl graphics application is not something that is listed in your agreement, it may be a good idea to call or email the leasing company to get a clear answer. Many times we receive vehicles straight from auto dealers so vinyl vehicle wraps are becoming a more common request, but it’s best to negotiate that into the terms upon leasing.

Watch your wrap and know when it’s time for removal or a change!
Upon installation of your vehicle graphics, the installer should be able to explain the manufacturer’s recommended removal timeframe. Vehicle wraps usually last anywhere from 3-5 years, but this depends greatly on the wear and tear your vehicle endures as well as the climate in which your vehicle is in service. If your vehicle and the wrap are properly maintained, that timeframe can be extended. In most instances, the vehicle lease will expire well before the graphics do so on time removal is not usually an issue. However, if too much time passes between installation and removal, harsh chemicals and scraping may be required for removal, which can cause damage to the factory paint. If you are ever unsure about the condition of your vinyl wrap, bring your vehicle to our shop for a vehicle wrap inspection, and we will give you an honest recommendation on the lifespan and urgency of removal.
