Keep it moving with directional / wayfinding signs!

How many times have you visited unfamiliar territory and had to ask for directions due to the lack of directional (aka wayfinding) signage? There is nothing worse than visiting an unfamiliar, parking lot or campus and feeling completely lost. Effective wayfinding signs are a must because they allow you to feel content and comfortable while visiting a new establishment or event. There are many options available to accomplish this. Here are some examples of the most popular ways.   Custom Signage Traditional, long-term wayfinding signs can be created and installed using digitally printed vinyl on an aluminum composite panel (ACP) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC). If a temporary sign is all you need, a sign fabricated with coroplast would be the perfect solution. Coroplast is a lower cost, lightweight and waterproof material which is easy to manage and install.     Vinyl Graphics Vinyl graphics can also be an excellent choice for directional signage. Digitally printed vinyl graphics are very versatile and can effectively be used in almost any environment. This option will also work for creating permanent or short-term wayfinding signs, as we have the option of using a low-tack or high-tack adhesive for the project. The low-tack adhesive can easily be removed from the temporary display leaving no residue, and the long-term adhesive option will keep the high quality, digitally printed vinyl beautifully in place for years to come.

Textured surface vinyl

If a brick, concrete, textured or another “rough” surface is all you have to work with, don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Textured surface vinyl is installed using a high-temperature heat gun and foam roller which can easily be adhered to sealed or unsealed surfaces leaving no residue when removed. Textured surface vinyl can also be installed for temporary or long-term directional signage use.Vinyl graphics can also be an excellent choice for directional signage.   Perforated and solid vinyl window graphics Windows are also a fantastic space to display directional or wayfinding signs. Solid vinyl window graphics work great for small signs or decals, but for larger projects, we recommend perforated window vinyl. Perforated window vinyl appears opaque from the outside so viewers can easily read the message but also allows visibility from the inside out. This makes it an optimal choice for businesses that have a large number of windows.     These are just a few examples of the many great options available for permanent or temporary wayfinding signage. If you have an event where you are in need of a temporary wayfinding solution or if you just want to help your visitors find their way we have a solution for you!
