To start this project, 3-D Technology asked us to design a technology custom wrap unlike anything we’ve created before. We always love a good challenge! Here are the steps we took to create this high tech, custom advertising wrap! Step 1 – We took photos and measurements of the plain white van. (As you can see, it definitely needed our help!) [caption id="attachment_1537" align="aligncenter" width="600"] 3-D Technology’s plain white van was just waiting for the right team to take it to the next level![/caption] Our first step was to take photos and measurements of the pearl white 2017 Nissan NV 3500 passenger van. This van definitely needed some personalization. Step 2 – We created a unique, striking design and then submitted the proof to 3-D Technology for review. [caption id="attachment_1538" align="aligncenter" width="600"] This proof showed 3-D Technology exactly what their new van would look like after the installation process was complete.[/caption] Our designer created a cool, high tech custom wrap design with layered effects. He included a set of dimensional server racks with an overlay of a world map. His design also included an interconnecting web of gears, network icons, and the company’s logo in green to stand out against the black background.   He created a pattern of IT-related icons which he included on the roof and hood, along the sides, and covering the entire rear door. The background of the van was a deep black, which allowed the lighter black icons pattern to stand out against the background. The custom wrap also included 3-D Technology’s logo, tagline, and website. [caption id="attachment_1539" align="aligncenter" width="600"] The details in this high tech design made this custom wrap really stand out! Check out the black technology icons pattern, the green interconnected web & logo icons, and the dimensional server racks![/caption] Our designer also incorporated vinyl coverage on the roof and perforated vinyl coverage (with small holes) on the side and rear windows. These additions made this a true full-coverage wrap. He then submitted the wrap design to 3-D Technology in proof form. Step 3 – After receiving approval, we printed and installed the custom wrap! This beautiful custom wrap is now getting attention all over Middle TN![/caption] [caption id="attachment_1541" align="aligncenter" width="600"] The perforated vinyl on the rear and side windows and coverage on the roof make this a true, professionally designed full-coverage wrap. [/caption] Once 3-D Technology gave us the thumbs up on the proof, we digitally printed the design on high quality vinyl material using our HP Latex Wide Format Printer. A gloss laminate was applied to the vinyl to keep it looking vibrant for years to come. The wrapping process took a few days to complete. And the result was worth the short wait. We’re sure 3-D Technology is now getting more attention as a result of this gorgeous advertising wrap! We believe 3-D Technology made a very wise decision to invest in a new commercial van wrap.
