When a returning customer brought us a new project with a very creative logo idea, we were intrigued! SYPCOFFEE has a fantastic brand mark with an image of the world as a coffee stain. SYP stands for Savor. Your. Planet., and encourages you to savor every moment of life. A new and unique coffee gifting company, they offer a variety of ideas of packaged coffee and sugar bundles with handmade notes to create very unusual and memorable gifts. To help get the word out about SYPCOFFEE, we were asked to fabricate and install advertising graphics for the sides of a white Mini Cooper. The rear side windows were covered in vinyl by the dealership to perfectly match the vehicle’s paint, so we were glad to have this extra space to create our layout over the windows. We were provided with two decals of the coffee stain brand mark, and we fabricated the text portion of their logo. Once we had everything ready, we aligned the portions of the combination mark on both sides of the vehicle. First, we installed the creative coffee stain of the world, and then we re-positioned our templates for the lettering to be applied. With each component securely in place, we removed the templates and the markings we had added for the application. Usually, we use cut and printed vinyl for our vehicle advertising graphics, but there are many options for variation. For this project, we custom-designed something special for the client that provided dimensionality and visual display: acrylic letters with reflective vinyl. We fabricated the letters out of clear acrylic covered in digitally-printed reflective vinyl, and laser cut to the shape of the logo. The “SYPCOFFEE” letters were cut out of 1/4” thick acrylic, and 1/8” thick acrylic was used for the smaller letters. We love the effect of the acrylic letters, but what makes them really stand out is the reflective vinyl that is digitally printed in red and gray for the remaining letters. When light shines on the reflective vinyl, the result is really spectacular! So the finished project, in a couple of different lights, looks like this: The client was as excited as we were with how this project turned out! From the unique coffee stain world image to the one-of-a-kind dimensional letters, this Mini-Cooper will DEFINITELY be noticed.
