Amelia's Flower Truck was created out of a love for the flowers so easily found along the big city streets of Paris, London, Milan, and New York. Amelia's owner, Mattie, wanted to bring the charm and ease of buying fresh flowers to Nashville, and creating a flower shop on wheels out of vintage trucks was the perfect solution. When you catch a glimpse of these fun trucks, we think you will agree! Mattie has given her three amazing vintage trucks endearing names. First, let’s introduce you to “Amy,” a restored 1962 agave green VW Transporter. Amy traveled all the way from California to be the first in Mattie’s fleet. We installed digitally printed decals of the Amelia’s Flower Truck logo to the doors of the single cab. [caption id="attachment_1277" align="aligncenter" width="600"] "Amy" in action - Panels down and loaded up with beautiful fresh flowers displayed in tin cans. Similar to Amy, we added the name to the doors of the VW truck and also installed the contact information and social icons to the back of the truck. [caption id="attachment_1278" align="aligncenter" width="600"] Here's the mock up image for the graphics on Rory. The presentation of the logo on the doors is a little different, and we added lettering for the services offered and the website to the sides of the truck. This is a great way to educate people who see the truck while it's in motion! (Image courtesy of Amelia's Flower Truck.) [/caption] Melody,” the third member of Amelia’s family (below), is a 1965 pearl white VW Transporter from Texas. For Melody, we digitally printed the logo graphics and added a protective UV gloss laminate. We also used dark gray cut vinyl to fabricate the remaining truck graphics to match the approved layout. [caption id="attachment_1273" align="aligncenter" width="600"] We used printed vinyl graphics for both doors and cut vinyl graphics for the sides and back of the truck. The lettering on the bed says they do events, deliveries, subscriptions and fresh cuts.[/caption] You will see the trucks parked in trendy areas around Nashville, including White's Mercantile on 12th, Imogene + Willie, and Hillsboro Village – and many others! The fresh flowers are sold out of tin buckets that line the shelves in the beds of the trucks. The buying experience is just as fun as receiving the beautiful bouquets themselves! Mattie has definitely captured the charm of the big city flower trucks she was seeking! If you want to learn even more about Amelia's Flower Truck and see gorgeous photos of the flowers and the trucks in action, visit their FacebookInstagram and Twitter pages. You won't be disappointed. You also can find the latest updates on their website. Happy flower buying! Do you have a vehicle in need of custom graphics? Let us know!
