Hunt Brothers Pizza (HBP) has been a valued customer of 12-Point SignWorks on a variety of projects for a number of years. We were delighted when they asked us to assist them with a large project at their headquarters here in Nashville, TN. They wanted to honor the story behind the success of their family-owned and operated business, and showcase the team that continues to help them grow. HBP provided us with all of the photos, wording, and logo art for the custom signage project. We turned these components into three separate displays paying tribute to their history/timeline, DBH distributing locations, and the Founders Award they bestow each year. The first display, the HBP timeline, consisted of a 14’ wide x 48” tall background graphic we designed and fabricated to contrast with the gray wall paint, and set the stage for the historical elements to be attached. We digitally printed the color (with a fade) on adhesive wall vinyl with a matte laminate. Using our Vanguard VR5D flatbed UV digital printer, we printed the timeline graphics on 1/4" thick clear acrylic panels. The graphics were printed on first (top) and second (back) surfaces of the panels. Each panel attached to the wall with six anodized aluminum standoffs. We then attached the HBP brand mark above the timeline display, and added their name in dimensional acrylic letters. The details of that process are highlighted as we talk about the next display below. On the second fabricated display, we highlighted current HBP locations served by DBH Distributing. Since you can find HBP in more than 7,300 places in 28 states, there are obviously many more locations around the country. Again, we printed the background color with a fade on our digital printers on an adhesive wall vinyl with a matte laminate. A variety of artwork was also printed on the background material. We then added 1/4” thick clear acrylic panels with graphics printed on the second surface. Anodized aluminum standoffs are used to attach the panels to the wall. For the map in the center of the display, we digitally printed the state details on the second surface of 1/4" thick clear acrylic. We router cut each state to create 1/4” gap between state borders upon installation. We added the HBP logo above the display. The brand mark is a 14" x 7" laser cut logo made up of three layers of 1/8" acrylic in the HBP brand colors (green, white, and red). Below the brand mark, we laser cut the DBH DISTRIBUTING letters out of 1/4" thick acrylic. (This is the same process used in the timeline display above.) The final HBP display spotlights the recipients of their annual Founders Award. Since 2012, each year they have honored a person who is:

• A role model.
• Respected by their team members and customers.
• Exceptional at their work and goes above and beyond the call of duty.
• A representative of the company values in the most positive way.
• A great example of what it means to be part of the HBP team.

These characteristics are featured in the acrylic center piece with the photo of the Hunt brothers, text, and HBP logo printed second surface. The 24" x 24" x .25" thick piece was installed on the wall with 1" aluminum standoffs. For the side panels, HBP requested stained wooden backers that were hand-rubbed with a satin poly finish. Each panel features six acrylic pieces with winner photos printed on the second surface of 1/8” thick non-glare clear acrylic. The pieces are mounted to the wooden backers with 1/2" aluminum standoffs. HBP has reason to be proud of their success, and they are even more proud of the people who have gotten them this far. 12-Point SignWorks was honored to be a part of this large project, highlighting their history and celebrating those who continue to contribute to their success.
