Project: Custom Environmental Graphics for 'Heart of House' Location: Nationwide Client: Loews Hotels and Resorts We've partnered with Loews Hotels and Resorts for a nationwide rebranding project for the 'Heart of House' in each of their properties across the country. They want their employees surrounded by positive, uplifting, cheerful, and encouraging environmental graphics, and we get to fabricate and install them. The 'Heart of House' is the section of the hotels, typically referred to as the 'back of house' in hotel lingo, where all of the action happens that goes unseen to guests and visitors. Loews looks at this key area of their hotels as the core (or heart) of their business. All of the activity required to run the hotels and resorts happens here. If you've stayed at one of their properties, you can imagine what it takes to make everything run smoothly. The photos below show a selection of digitally printed graphics that we've installed around the country. We install them on a variety of surfaces, including doors (wooden and metal), glass, drywall, and textured surfaces.

The wall graphics include uplifting quotes and sayings in languages from around the world. This is a photo from the hallway at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel in Nashville, TN.

Every hotel has a featured timeline that shows the history of the Loews brand and ends with the details of the specific location. This timeline, at the Loews Vanderbilt Hotel, incorporates the details of this particular Nashville property.

These two murals highlight the Chicago skyline and the Buckingham Fountain for the Loews Chicago Hotel. Each hotel has graphics very specific to the hotel property.

Northern Waters Café is a shout out to the hotel property in Minnesota. These chalkboard and wall graphics are at the Loews Minneapolis Hotel.

Because it's Minneapolis, the environmental graphics had to include the 'Spoonbridge and Cherry' sculpture that can be found in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, the largest urban sculpture park in the world.

All of the Loews properties have incorporated environmental graphics that are specific to their locations. To fabricate them, we use high performance printed and cut vinyl. We also create custom frames out of 1/8" PVC that are printed and cut into unique shapes. Each location has it's own custom additions, and we seem to be incorporating something new each time we visit a new property.
