For the past few months, we have been wrapping fleet and utility vehicles for The Academy (run by "Never Grow Up") Childcare facilities. Located throughout Williamson County, Never Grow Up runs several daycare centers, after-school programs, and preschool groups. To help brand and unify their different facilities they wanted to get an advertising wrap put on every one of their company vehicles. This included a fleet of Fiats that their employees drive as well as large box trucks used by their facilities managers and janitorial staff.
This turned the vehicles—ranging from a neutral white color to bright canary yellow—all into the same pale green color as the frog in their logo and other marketing. Advertising wraps differ from luxury paint wraps where the client wants the entire body of their car to be covered enough to completely hide the original paint. Advertising wraps are more for utility and catching the attention of potential clients than creating a custom luxury vehicle. This means that the wrap can, usually, go a lot faster since the installer does not have to take apart the very detailed parts of the vehicle to tuck the vinyl and totally hide every millimeter of paint. To put it this way, advertising wraps are meant to be looked at from a distance (like while driving on the road) and paint wraps are inspected from up close.
We digitally printed the art files The Academy provided us on our Roland Digital Printer using professional wrap vinyl that is both flexible and durable enough to last well on the vehicles. Using wrap squeegees and a little heat, our installers were able to finish the wraps in no time, letting the employees of The Academy have their rides back as soon as possible. Advertising are an extremely effective way to advertise a business and have been proven by studies to leave a more lasting impression on viewers than most other types of marketing.
