Hanging and Mounting Of Company Logo Signs—Franklin, TN

BY: Your Name, Your Business

With so many options available for corporate logo signage, mounting options play a big factor in the overall look of the sign as well. From dimensional letters, to panel signs, to hanging signs- hanging solutions are available for all kinds of signs, and all different applications. One of the most popular logo sign options are dimensional letters; either flush mounted, or slightly spaced off the wall, these individual letters or logo pieces are stud mounted and hung individually with a template for that “stand alone” look. Using spacers and sleeves, you can adjust the space off the wall in which the letters stand- and with different visual options for spacers, the desired effect and shadows created can be dramatic, to subtle.

Another popular solution is using flat cut acrylic or metal logos and lettering, mounting them to a panel, and hanging the panel off the wall with standoff hardware. Standoff hardware comes in a variety of diameters, and depths, along with several finished to compliment most themes and looks. From matte black, to anodized, brushed aluminum to copper finished standoffs, there are many options.

One of the more simple ways to mount panels to walls and display surfaces is the french cleat. The french cleat is essentially a piece of substrate, cut down the middle at a 45-degree angle, and mounted one specific way to allow you to hang the panel. Since the sizing of the cleat hardware, and depending on the placement of the hardware, a “bumper” panel or piece can be added to help hang the sign level with the wall; and not at an angle.

Finally, the most elementary, yet tried and trusted method is using hanging eye hooks, or “s” hooks through holes drilled into the panel or sign. This allows the customer to hang the sign from a post and panel, or from chains suspended from a higher point. Very durable, very easy for install, and proven to be a reliable method of hanging. The hanging hardware in this case is usually mounted to the sign directly, or to a frame housing the sign. This is a very popular solution in more traditional areas, such as historic and periodic themed locations.
