There are many high-quality, attractive materials available to use in creating a great-looking logo sign, and one of the better looking combinations (in our humble opinion!) is that of brushed metal and painted acrylic dimensional letters.

Because solid metal panels can be somewhat expensive, we usually recommend an aluminum composite panel (ACP). The core of the ACP is a solid black plastic, and the faces of the panel are layered with a thin cover of aluminum. The aluminum is available in a variety of colors included brushed and speckled natural finishes.
The Hobbs & Associates sign shown above was fastened to the wall using aluminum standoffs – architectural hardware. The standoffs create a gap between the sign panel and the wall, adding another interesting layer of dimensionality to the sign’s character.

A different example is this Neuro Biologix dimensional logo sign shown above. The sign was fastened to the wall with hidden hardware (a “French cleat”). As a smaller sign, the Lindsey Docherty logo sign was held in place with double sided tape for a temporary display.
The dimensional acrylic letters are usually cut by a laser that leaves the edges polished, and the corners are in exact accordance with the original artwork.
Acrylic letters and logo pieces can also be painted in custom colors in order to satisfy a brand’s logo mark specifications, such as a specific shade of color unique to that business’ logo.
