Recently we’ve noticed lots of new churches popping up all over middle Tennessee! Even more prominent are the many different types of signage that the churches use to advertise in order to draw more people to their congregations. We have some suggestions on what kind of signage you’ll need to draw people to your congregation!
1. Temporary banners – Temporary banners can be placed on street corners or in front of your new building. Bright colors and bold letters make your sign stand out and attract everyone passing by the sign.
2. Temporary lawn signs – lawn signs are also a great way to advertise your new church. You can customize the lawn signs by putting your own church logo and message on it so people will recognize your church. The more lawn signs, the more visibility, which leads to the greater number of impressions!
3. Outdoor posters – Some types of outdoor posters are waterproof so they won’t get ruined by any rain. That way, you’ll be able to have them up for a while as you advertise.
4. Vinyl wall graphics – Don’t go with the chalkboard, handwritten quote on the blackboard – get vinyl lettering to make your favorite Bible verse really stand out on virtually any wall surface! 5.Directional signage – You will need directional signage both inside and outside the building. New visitors and potential members of the congregation will want to know which way the sunday school room is, which way the information desk is, where parking is, and especially which way the restrooms are! Choosing to go with more modern, 3D directional signage is a great idea for a new building.
