Full color graphics can be designed and printed on wallcovering materials that offer either a pressure-sensitive adhesive (PSA) or that are hung like traditional wall paper.  PSA materials can be either fairly permanent or removable.  Because of a small amount of shrinkage associated with the PSA products, panels are typically slightly overlapped during installation.  Removable wall covering materials offer the benefit of little-to-no damage to underlying paint and allow the user to, for example, temporarily change the look of a room (possibly making that hotel ballroom look branded for the corporate or private event). In contrast, custom designed wallcoverings that are installed like traditional wall paper are able to use double-cut seams that result in close butt joints. One of the more exciting developments in custom wall coverings in recent years is the advent of a variety of unique textures that offer depth and dimension to the character of the wall covering.  These textures include canvas, parchment, leather, and even glass bead.
