Boosting Wayfinding and Visibility with 3D Letters
Both locations needed signage that would be easy to see from the road, suitable for the site, and long-lasting. Moreover, the style elements had to be adaptable to the architectural details of the locations.
We worked with the administration to formulate a game plan. For the elementary school, our shop designed, produced, and installed 3D letters that we painted in the school’s iconic blue color. In this way, it matches the colors of the entry doors and the roof trim. Moreover, we flush-mounted the individual letters to the overhang above the doors.
For the high school, we adopted a different approach. We recognized that there was not a façade to mount the lettering to. Instead, we installed them – standing straight up – to the ledge situated immediately above the entrance. Because so much of the letters would be exposed to the daily sun, our technicians selected metal for manufacturing.
Now, both signs are in place to welcome students, parents, and faculty members.
