Signage for Babu's Jerk Joint In Brookfield Babu's Jerk Joint is a new restaurant that opened at 537 Federal Road in Brookfield. They specialize in Caribbean foods, like jerk chicken, and also offer a variety of Caribbean versions of American classics, like burgers and sandwiches. They have plenty of outdoor seating and also have a great mini-golf course behind the restaurant. We worked on this job from the start. When Thesa and her family walked in on the first day they had a basic idea of what they wanted and a small sample of a logo they created, which included the yellow flame icon. From that our designers worked with her, going back and forth for 2 weeks to get the fonts, the colors, and the layout just right. For the building sign we were constrained by the available space on the front of the building due to it's unique shape. The main sign is sheet aluminum with printed vinyl graphics and the flame icon was hand cut out of 1/2 inch PVC and coated with printed vinyl. The street sign is a wooden post and panel sign made from two 4" x 4" posts and a sheet of MDO. We cut the MDO to size and coated it with printed vinyl. It's a rather simple application but a very effective sign. It displays the logo in full color only a few feet from one of the busiest roads in the area and is even readable at 40 MPH.     For more information on signage for your restaurant or business give us a call 203.546.7267
