Our most recent client, East Bay Water Solutions, has a unique business. . . He pulls a wrapped trailer like the ones you see on the freeway which transport sports cars. . . Inside, is a huge transformer and pumping equipment. He will drive to your home, and put a huge hose in your pool. . . . then another hose comes from the pool to the trailer. In a time period somewhere between seven and ten hours (depending on the size of the pool), your pool water is transformed into clean, drinkable water. It’s like dialysis for your pool. . .
I understand that the water in an average pool, (even when it is kept up each month), needs to be replaced approximately every 15 years. (When we had a pool, we didn’t realize that, even though our pool was always pristine and crystal - like.) There is always water that evaporates, but in the long run, a pool is much more water efficient than a lawn. And you get a pool! Ours was well worth the effort. Lee spent an hour a month on it, and I kept the chemicals under control. . . . Loved the pool. Would like to put one in our present address, and would recommend a pool to everyone. . . .
Talk about giving back! The owner told me that he would like to connect with the local Red Cross Agency. . . He said that with this equipment, he is prepared to go into an emergency situation and turn lake water into drinking water! What a wonderful way to give back!
