Once in a while we have a realtor client who is interested in making their formal identities top notch. Our most recent client is Janice Colby of Keller Williams in Danville, California. . . She was preparing to list a house that is valued between 1 and 2 million dollars, and wanted to showcase her professionalism to compliment the features of the house. She had signs that had been great in their time, however, the sun had faded the red background, and it was past time to update them. She had a professional photo taken not long before, which portrays her elegant style. It was a perfect combination.
The heading of the sign is an inlay from a photo I took of Mt Diablo. Ironically, it is the same photo that I used to design the back of my husband’s company truck for Signature d’Sign, Inc (F150 pickup truck). The photo shows the mountain range plus Shell Ridge. I took the photo from Lafayette. When I took it, I didn’t realize that it would be so special or popular. I spent 2 years recently, taking pictures of the Devil Mountain. I was trying to find the best shot.
Previously, we designed a similar sign for another couple who are also realtors. The Haycox’s of Keller Williams from Brentwood, California are friends of some of our family members. Surprisingly, they chose the same photo for the heading. We discussed using another photo, but I convinced them that in order to use a photo legally, you must have permission from the people who own the rights. One of the advantages our company has, is that I have quite a collection of photos that I have taken myself, and, that I like to share with my clients. That way, we can give them something unique, and also save them $.
