Not every sign project is alike, and at North Coast Signs we love to bring those ‘outside the box’ thoughts and concepts to reality! Our client, Monterey Financial, had a great idea: a conference room wall, branded with inspirational words and their tagline, as a central point of interest and inspiration for staff and their own clients. Our custom design team was excited to come on board with this unique project and worked hard to turn the idea into reality.
Conference Room Branding Wall
Much like this project was not your average sign design, Monterey Financial is not your average financial company. This organization focuses on alternative financial solutions and processes, working closely with clients and creating the kind of environment that has led to long term staff retention and a high degree of innovation. Their branded wall idea is a great example of their interest in finding unique and compelling ways to connect with people.
The trick to making this project a success was finding a way to create a variety of fonts and colors to add visual interest and meet the client’s vision, without sacrificing cohesion or the company’s branding. Our design team decided to create a proof of a new artwork word collage, with various fonts and words intersecting across the wall. With approval, we turned it into the full-scale wall application selecting vinyl for its ease of application, its durability, and its affordability.

Every word was custom printed in Pantone colors, then laminated, cut, weeded, and masked for the wall. The company logo, too, was created as a ready-to-apply, glossy cut vinyl sign to keep up with branding and to reflect the company’s aesthetics and ethics. The end result is an installation that is like nothing else, and is fully representative of Monterey Financial. The company is thrilled, and the writing is on the wall in a great way.
