One of our repeat clients, Renovate America, came to us with an idea for the lobby of their additional building. We had previously created several cable display systems on many floors of their former building, but this time, they had a challenge: a corporate lobby display, free-standing using rods instead of cables. We were happy to take on this challenge.
Rod Display for Corporate Lobby
Renovate America makes home renovation affordable and possible across the country. Their Hero program offers competitive rates with no money down, for energy efficient, water efficient, or hurricane projection projects based on home equity, household income, debt obligations, and other jurisdictional criteria. It’s a popular program that is making a difference for homeowners and the environment.
The Hero program is available in many municipalities across the country and that is what this sign project was designed to highlight. Each municipality’s seal was printed on matte laminate, weeded, masked, and applied to a frosted acrylic tile. Those tiles, put together, made up the impactful and unique display.
Rod Display – Side View
We adapted the tiles for the rod hardware, with 29 columns holding 11 tiles each, for a total of 296 tiles on the display. The system, when full, can display up to 352 tiles for an even larger visual impact. Each tile is carefully installed, leveled, and tensioned appropriately for perfection, held with four rod grips per tile, and various tile clips depending on which part of the display the tile is located.
This beautiful and unique display came together with careful planning and consultation, meticulous material selection, and our usual detailed installation leaving no tile unsecured and no rod unattached. For every project, large or small, we use our experience and skills to make it perfect before we leave, and we are always available for follow-up if need be.
The display is a hit, not just with our client and their own customers, but with other business partners who saw it, loved it, and wanted their own. We have since created and installed several other rod displays in corporate spaces.
