Project: Vehicle Graphics

A local company, Ardelis Fine Art & Framing, wanted to brand their newly purchased van. You can see examples of their new van in the images in this article. It’s not a retail business, and Ardelis mainly works with other businesses, but it doesn’t mean that they didn’t want proper branding and advertising on their new vehicle.
Like many clients of ours, Ardelis wasn’t quite sure exactly what they wanted or needed. They knew they wanted their logo on the van, but didn’t really have any ideas for the design of the decals or the other elements of their van’s graphics. Like many of our clients, they were hoping for some advice and direction from us, and left it completely up to our design team to come up with the rest.
To install graphics on a van like this one, or any other vehicle for that matter, we start by taking pictures of all sides of the vehicle. Then we measure each section and create proofs on a template. Once we complete the graphics and design work, we apply the printed graphics to the vehicle.
When we showed the van to Ardelis Fine Art & Framing, they were thrilled with the design and liked the continuous branding, which features their logo and tagline, “Where Art is a Verb,” on all four sides of the van.
This project turned out to be classy and tasteful, just like fine art should be. 🙂
